To position Island Outpost as more than just another luxury resort in the Caribbean, we launched Outpostings, an online publication for the brand, in 2014. Focused on Jamaican music, community, food, wellness and culture overall, the publication spotlighted Island Outpost as a lover and appreciator of Jamaica—a hospitality brand that is truly integrated into the culture.
Through interviews with influential Jamaican natives, like the owners of Rasta hangout Ibo Spice, Jamaican-born artist Laura Facey and renowned author Marlon James, we helped travelers see Jamaica through the eyes of the locals who know it best.
Spherical captured the essence of life in Jamaica through multiple photo production trips to the island. We shot photos specifically for the brand's blog, Island Outpostings, as well as for its social channels.
Spherical's Island Outpost social media strategy highlighted the brand's three properties as fully immersive Jamaican experiences, showcasing both their distinct beauty and offerings as well as those of the island as a whole.
