Social Media Manager (Barcelona)

Spherical is looking for a Social Media Manager to assist in the creation, curation and execution of content for Spherical’s hospitality, travel and real estate clients. Spherical’s social media creative team has a passion for making beautiful, impactful visual content that tells a story and gets people engaged. The ideal candidate has a strong visual style, and can effectively translate branding and marketing strategies into exceptional creative social media content. This person will be working closely with the Social Media Creative Manager to guide the Social Media Creative Coordinators to help them bring the energy and aesthetic of the client to life through innovative content ideas.


  • Work closely with social media, creative and client services teams to curate and develop social media content calendars
  • Oversee Social Media Creative Coordinators to develop and/or revise monthly social media content calendars for clients
  • Support with content strategy with the purpose of storytelling
  • Understanding input from creative leadership and clients, and effectively revising calendars based on feedback
  • Provide support on Instagram story design, asset graphic design, and social media video editing
  • Work with project management team to monitor status of deliverables
  • Find opportunities to be creative and innovative with an informed point of view, providing recommendations to internal team regularly
  • Stay relevant in the industry – explore new platforms, innovations and tools and attend appropriate industry events and provide proactive ideas to clients
  • Assist in proposal and campaign creation for new and existing clients


  • Fluent or near fluent english language skills
  • 3+ years experience in social media content creation
  • Fluent in content strategy for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest
  • Ability to articulate and present concepts, and understand how data translates into content optimization
  • Ability to prioritize work when working on multiple clients or tasks
  • Proven internal communication skills
  • Close attention to detail
  • Drive for testing, innovating, pushing the limits of creativity
  • Ability to execute creative work on brief and on deadline, effectively and efficiently
  • Proactive, driven, and engaged individual with strong organizational skills
  • Proven working experience with project management framework and accountability
