Rosewood London, one of the brand’s flagship properties, combines English heritage with contemporary sophistication in a central location near Covent Garden. Its social presence needed to convey the property’s ultra-stylish setting and sophistication to the digital world.
Taking inspiration from the infamous James Bond, we decided to create an editorial photography story that took creative liberty with the character of the original series. In our interpretation, James Bond was a female figure, portrayed by local influencer @fleurandrea, who resides in a suite at Rosewood London. She interacts with the suite’s butler, takes advantage of the hotel’s chauffeured cars, and drops into a few locations around the city. Spherical reframed James Bond’s typical persona to bring interest and intrigue to Rosewood London's Instagram feed, maintaining the experience of grandeur and bringing the Rosewood "Sense of Place" philosophy to the hotel's digital presence.
Since taking over Rosewood London’s social channels in November 2016, Spherical, luxury marketing agency, developed a social content strategy that fully immerses the digital consumer into the experience on property. With a particular focus on Instagram, Spherical reframed the Rosewood London feed with a mix of original luxury and lifestyle photography, and curated user-generated content. Recent photoshoots have focused on capturing beautiful on-property spaces and establishments, distinct London destinations, and Rosewood’s key brand pillars of "A Sense of Taste" and "A Sense of Place".
